This was our first time in Miami Beach, and we loved it! It was the perfect winter escape.
There’s no shortage of things to do in Miami Beach, especially when the temps are still 75-80 degrees in December.
Here are some of our favorite things we did:
1. Rent a Citibike and ride the paved path along the ocean
2. Eat at one of the million local restaurants on Espanola Way, Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, or Washington Avenue
3. Get a workout in at the outdoor gym on Ocean Drive
4. Drive to Everglades National Park and do an airboat tour
5. Rent a bike and do the 15-mile loop in Shark Valley at Everglades National Park (and see lots of alligators)
6. Visit Biscayne National Park and rent a canoe or kayak
7. Drive down the Florida Keys, drink a Rum Runner, and eat some red snapper
8. Catch a random drone show on the beach (if you’re lucky)
